Every company has a beginning.
Ours starts with a simple idea: providers deserve a distribution partner they can trust.
Before Advanced Medical Administration existed, founder Roger Chasteen saw firsthand how unpredictable the wound care supply chain could be. Products were inconsistent. Support was unreliable. And too often, clinicians were left trying to navigate complex systems without a partner who understood both the urgency of patient care and the realities of day-to-day practice operations.
Roger believed there was a better way.
Drawing from a career that spanned business ownership, law enforcement, and decades of leading teams, he built AMA around a few core principles:
- Do what you say you’ll do
- Operate with integrity, even when it costs more
- Show up for people, every time
What began as a small, relationship-driven operation quickly grew into a national distributorship serving wound care providers across the United States. But the foundation has stayed the same: dependability, transparency, and a human-first approach to service.
The video below tells the story in Roger’s own words—how AMA began, what drives our mission, and why trust will always be the center of what we do.
